Ducks Unlimited is a hunting organization. It is hunters who want to keep habitat for hunting. That means they fight development and other things that may kill habitats. They are both. They may shoot some but preserve the habitat for more.

it owned by Irving so it must have a money purpose

Ducks Unlimited is not owned by Irving. Get your anti-Irving facts straight!

Ducks Unlimited now allows Big Box stores right beside their marshes.
What is up with that?

Look at how Home Depot was built too close to the Corbett Brook Marsh in the UNB Woodlot (Fredericton). The water quality has already been compromised, and now a second store, perhaps Costco, is proposed to be built even closer to the Marsh.

Ducks Unlimited should speak up! People who donate their time and money to Ducks Unlimited don't want the land given over to development.

Irving is a main contributer to the DU. A lot of DU's properties are in co-operation with the Irvings.

Yes they are hunters. Yes they care about the animals. If they did not preserve the migrating lands.... they would not have any more migrating birds to shoot out of the air! So... they care enough to make sure the animals have a safe haven before they get killed by Americans.
